David Southwood was grateful to recently present at the Keypoint Law Annual Conference on the topic “Decisions That Matter: Lessons from the Latest High Court Cases”.
The presentation discussed recent trends in High Court jurisprudence and the ramifications of the High Court’s recent decisions in Mallonland Pty Ltd v Advanta Seeds Pty Ltd [2024] HCA 25 (concerning negligent infliction of pure economic loss) and Productivity Partners Pty Ltd v ACCC [2024] HCA 27 (concerning accessorial liability and statutory unconscionable conduct).
