New Chambers congratulates our two newest Senior Counsel members

On behalf of New Chambers, we congratulate Hayley Bennett SC and Thomas Prince SC on their appointment as Senior Counsel.

The appointment of Hayley and Thomas acknowledges their leadership qualities and significant achievement.

Hayley Bennett began practising at the NSW Bar on 4 May 2009. Her practice areas are succession and protective law, and health law. Prior to coming to the Bar, Hayley worked as a clinical and research neuropsychologist and provided expert opinion in succession and protective law proceedings in courts and tribunals. She also sat as a professional member on the Guardianship Tribunal. Hayley has been a member of the Succession and Protective Law Committee since its inception in 2021 and was appointed its Deputy Chair in 2023.

Thomas began practising at the NSW Bar on 30 April 2012. His practice area is commercial law. Before coming to the Bar, Thomas was Associate to the Hon. J D Heydon KC and the Hon. V Bell AC SC at the High Court of Australia and then worked at Allens as a solicitor. Thomas has been a member of the Bar Exam Working Party since 2022, has presented at the Bar Practice Course workshops for equity applications, and has spoken at various conferences in NSW and other states.
