Experience
Diana has a broad practice in public law, common law and commercial law. She has advised and appeared in judicial review proceedings across a range of areas including building and construction, health law and insurance law. Diana also has experience in negligence and intentional tort claims in the police and corrections context.
Before coming to the Bar, Diana practised as a solicitor for Aboriginal legal aid in the Northern Territory. She acted in civil matters and inquiries, including for the family of the deceased in a coronial inquest into a death in custody and for a vulnerable witness in the Royal Commission into the Detention and Protection of Children in the Northern Territory. She also has experience as a solicitor in construction litigation in Sydney, acting in complex mining disputes and construction arbitrations.
