New Chambers is delighted to congratulate our Associate Member, Sam Hay KC, on his appointment as a judge of the Supreme Court of Victoria, effective 21 April 2026.
Sam has had a distinguished career as a barrister, appearing in commercial, corporate and common law matters, as well as before royal commissions and commissions of inquiry. He has also made significant contributions to the profession, including serving as President of the Victorian Bar, Junior Vice President of the Australian Bar Association, and Chair of the Victorian Legal Services Board and Commissioner.
We wish His Honour every success as he takes up his new role in the Common Law Division.
