New Chambers’ newest Reader – Emily Hall

New Chambers warmly welcomes its newest Reader, Emily Hall.

Emily accepts briefs in all areas of law. Prior to coming to the bar, she was a Senior Associate at Herbert Smith Freehills, where she acted in a range of commercial disputes in the Federal Court of Australia and the Supreme Courts of NSW and Victoria. She has particular experience as a solicitor in class actions, financial services regulatory investigations and proceedings, and anti-money laundering.

Emily holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Laws (First Class Honours) from Macquarie University. She was the recipient of the Dean’s Award for Outstanding Academic Achievement in Law and prizes for first place in constitutional law and international trade and finance law. Emily also holds a Masters of Laws from the University of Sydney, and was the recipient of the Judge Samuel Redshaw Prize for Administrative Law.
