Experience
Catherine has a broad commercial and public law practice.
Prior to coming to the Bar, Catherine was a Solicitor at Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer where she worked on commercial litigation, class actions, judicial reviews and discrimination cases.
Catherine was Research Assistant to the Chief Justice of Queensland, the Hon. Catherine Holmes AC SC, and Associate to the Hon. Justice Peter Flanagan KC, Judge of Appeal. She served as a Manager of the Cambridge Pro Bono Project while she read for a Master of Laws at the University of Cambridge and she has held casual academic positions in constitutional law and administrative law.
She graduated third in her Bachelor of Laws degree with five subject prizes and the Outstanding Achievement Prize for Overall Excellence. Her published research on public law and human rights has been recognised by several awards.
