Experience

Liam primarily practices across commercial, common law, property and criminal matters.

Prior to coming to the Bar, he was a Senior Associate at Arnold Bloch Leibler where he represented and advised companies and individuals with respect to commercial disputes, white collar criminal matters, and internal investigations.

Before joining Arnold Bloch Leibler, Liam was a Senior Federal Prosecutor at the Commonwealth Director of Public Prosecutions. In this role, Liam prosecuted tax, social security, financial services and electoral offences. Liam also previously worked as a solicitor at Herbert Smith Freehills and was Associate to Judge Flannery SC in the district Court of NSW.

Liam is regularly briefed in a range of commercial disputes whilst also maintaining a broad practice that includes corporate, common law, strata, building and construction, property, taxation, bankruptcy, environment and planning, and criminal matters (with a focus on white collar, environmental and WHS offences). He has appeared before the Local, District and Supreme Courts of NSW, the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia, the Federal Court, the ACT Supreme Court and various tribunals.
